What determines the cost of a new website?
Cost of a website is determined by many factors. The size of the website, including the number of page, the complexity of the layout and features, whether customizations are needed. Cost increases when you add more complex features, including e-commerce, scheduling, and other features that may require a database, coding or integrations with 3rd party tooling. It also depends on whether you plan to do data setup yourself or whether it is included in the scope of the project.
What are the recurring costs associated with setting up a new website?
Most websites have a few recurring fees. First is an annual fee of around $10-15 for your domain name. Then you will have to choose a service to host your website (where the files are stored). This price can vary but can run as low as $7-15. Then, there is a one-time cost to build the website. Alternatively, there platform/services that include a content management system that provides layout tools for you to build and maintain it yourself. There is typically a monthly fee associated with using their tools in addition.
How long does a typical website project take?
Timelines vary by scope, but most business websites take from 1-3 weeks from the initial consultation to launch. This varies based on the complexity of the layout and features. We’ll give you a project-specific timeline once we understand your goals and content needs.
Do I need to have my content and photos ready before we start?

Yes. We often start by reviewing what’s working on your current site and rebuilding around it, rather than discarding everything. We are able to work within many different platforms.
